I was blessed to have a big portion of my family (ALL of my immediate family) in my home for Thanksgiving this year. Both of my kids (Aaron and Aranda) were here along with my darling husband, Rusty. Both my parents and Rusty’s parents, Jim and Mary, were in attendance. We know how lucky we are to have our parents so close to us and present in our lives. Gene and Simone were here, as you’ve seen by their post :), along with Austin. And last but not least, my Uncle Bill and his friend Sharon were able to make it this year. It was so heartwarming to have everyone together under one roof having such a wonderful time. I do feel truly blessed.

Simone and I spent Thanksgiving Day at Diana and Rusty’s place. Rusty did a great job of safely and successfully deep-frying 5 turkeys for the family. Of course, all of the rest of the food was also very good.

P.S. I’ll add the turkey fryin’ video after I’ve trimmed it down a bit! My server’s screamin’ “it’s too big!”…. If anyone knows of any inexpensive (free) software to trim Apple .3gp files, let me know where to get it (bit torrent) thanx!

This is a website that Gene put together to (hopefully) make it easier for all of us to share our lives. Photos, videos and all. Everyone can still have their own myspace or facebook, but here we can have OURspace!

Our first night home from our trip to Denton, Texas to pick up our new baby girl. Her name is Lil'Bit. She's a French Bulldog; so we gave her a French sounding name! ( Nevermind, she's a 'lil bit like 'ol Sassy! God rest her blessed sould...)

On Monday, August 25th, 2008, I’ll be traveling out to Redwood Shores, California for a job interview with a software security auditing company named Qualys. My fingers are crossed; I have high hopes of getting the job.
